Now for those who like to rough it – don’t despair. Port Clinton also has its share of campgrounds. Several are located just a few miles outside town from Port Clinton with everything from primitive sites to permanent sites. East Harbor State Park is located just a short drive from Port Clinton and is the largest campgrounds in the Ohio State Parks System. Out on the lake, Kellys Island, Put-in-Bay and Middle Bass island all have campgrounds, as well.
